Joe Banjo Burke Irish Festival 2nd Annual Irish cultural festival in honor of a beloved New York musician, Joe Banjo Burke, who passed away several years ago. Joe's widow Bridget has put together an incredible group of musicians and medical experts, and the festival/organization has a two-fold goal: Increase awareness, funds, and access to Irish arts & culture; and raise awareness and money for Parkinson's Disease research. Stop by when you're up there! Bairbre McCarthy, Storyteller We've known of Bairbre for years, having listened to her extraordinary storytelling at events all over the region. We recently had the privilege of sharing the stage with Bairbre at the Guilderland Library Second Sunday Concert Series.
